The next challenge is approaching: Mugello
We are looking forward to some virtual racing action at the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello this weekend! Get an overview about the Championship and find out where you can watch our live stream.
Beautiful hilly landscape, pleasant climate, vacation destination for young and old: Mugello is located in Tuscany north of Florence and stretches over 5'245 meters.
Characterized by a rising, over 1 kilometer long straight, fast elevation changes and hard curves, such as the "Arrabbiata 1" and the "Arrabbiata 2", it is a racetrack that guarantees exciting racing action.
By the way, in the 2020 Formula 1 season, Mugello hosted the Tuscan Grand Prix for the first time.
From 0 to 2nd place - Is Lorenzo Heyder the secret favorite?
Smidl drove to 1st place again in the last race - which secured him 25 points. This already means a 29-point lead over Enrique Marañon. The field is closer between third-placed Angelo Michel (30 points) and sixth-placed Christoph Holstein - just 7 points separate the two racers.
In the Challenger League, all eyes are on Lorenzo Heyder: the talented simracer drove his first race in Monza - and promptly finished in second place. So we can remain curious to see what happens at Mugello.
David Cid is ahead of everyone with 68 points. Championship runner-up Marcos Valverde will be even more motivated, because points are urgently needed to stay close to David Cid. Tune in on Saturday for the challenger league and on Sunday for the racer league and support your favorite simracer.
