Preview of the 7th race
The Belgian Grand Prix has been held at the circuit near the Belgian-German border since 1950, with a few interruptions. At 7.004 km, the track is the longest on this year's racing calendar. With the legendary Eau Rouge/Raidillon corner combination and many other fast corners, the circuit is very popular with motorsport fans. This is exactly why it is on the «Racing Unleashed Championship - Beyond the Pinnacle» race calendar.
After his victory at Silverstone in Race Week 6, Michal Smidl extended his lead in the overall standings to 74 points. If his closest pursuers Sanchez, Michel and Holstein are still to fancy their chances of overall victory, a win is a must this race weekend.
In the Challenger League, the battle for the overall win between Sinan Demirbas and David Cid is still even. In addition, Siro Zambra's victory at Silverstone narrowed the gap to Cid to 9 points. An extremely exciting starting position for another racing spectacle.
