The preview of the 6th Challenge: Monza
The next Challenge is coming up this weekend. Join us live when our drivers compete at the temple of speed in Monza.
A true legend of motorsport, the Autodromo Nazionale Monza embodies the essence of speed. Situated in the royal park of Monza, Italy, this circuit is a place of pilgrimage for racing enthusiasts. Its iconic straight, one of the longest on the racing calendar, challenges the limits of speed.
Our drivers are currently in the final preparations for this next challenge while we take a look at the exciting starting positions in both leagues.
In the Racer League, Michal Smidl was able to climb back to the top of the table at Zurich Airport. However, this also means that his rival, Alejandro Sanchez, will start this Saturday's KnockOut Qualifying one place ahead of the Czech. The top racers are currently separated by only two points, so the tension will be enormous from the very first second - be ready when the broadcast starts at 10:30 CET.
The race in the Challenger League already takes place on Friday. Janik Pletscher, who was so far sovereign for long stretches, had a bad day at the office and was pushed out of the lead by an outstanding Nico Fahland. Due to the many penalty points Pletscher received in Zurich, he is not allowed to start in the KnockOut and will therefore start the race from the last grid position.
He therefore faces a huge challenge if he does not want to let Fahland (who is 10 points ahead of him) pull away too much.
The broadcast for the Challenger League starts at 19:00 CET on Youtube and Twitch.
However, we are also very happy to welcome all guests who want to enjoy the spectacle on site in the lounges. In the Racing Lounge Kemptthal there will again be an apéro offered by RU - so why not put your name on the guest list right now?
