There's a particular kind of race weekend that fans know well. The calendar's marked, the coffee's poured early, and somewhere on the other side of the world a grid of twenty-two cars is about to line up on a track you've watched a hundred times on screen. At Racing Unleashed, we thought: why just watch it?

That's the idea behind the Weekend Sprint: a standing challenge that runs at every Racing Unleashed location, on every race weekend, whether or not that particular Racing Lounge happens to be showing the race live.
The Idea Is Simple
Each race weekend, our simulators are set to one shared track. You book a ride (any ride, any time before the cutoff) and drive it. No special session, no separate sign-up, no minimum skill level. If you were already planning to come in for a ride that weekend, you're automatically in the running.
The only rule that matters: your lap has to be set by Sunday, 6 PM. After that, the clock stops, the leaderboard freezes, and the weekend belongs to whoever set the fastest time.
Enjoy a Full Race Weekend
Come in Friday, Saturday or Sunday, and come back to beat your own time. The leaderboard stays open all weekend, so there's every reason to take another shot at the top spot. Weekend Sprint works identically whether your Racing Lounge is airing the broadcast or not; the challenge isn't built around the screen, it's built around the clock.
The Track
If possible, Weekend Sprint will take place on the same circuit as the F1, but not every circuit on the F1 calendar is available in our simulators. When that's the case, we will race on a track with a similar character, so the challenge runs every race weekend.
The Prize
The fastest driver of the weekend at each location wins a CHF/EUR 100 voucher, redeemable at any Racing Unleashed lounge in that country.
The Participants
Weekend Sprint is open to every driver, walk-in or regular. The two exceptions: RU Eports drivers from the last two competitive seasons, and RU employees. This one's for our guests.
Where and How to Join
Weekend Sprint runs every race weekend at every Racing Unleashed location (Zurich City, Zurich Airport, Cham, Munich, and Madrid), independent of whether that location is broadcasting the race. Book online or walk into any Racing Lounge; there's no separate booking flow. Just get on the track before the cutoff.
Some of our locations also show the official broadcast on the big screen under license, so check with your local Racing Lounge if that's part of what you're after. But Weekend Sprint itself doesn't depend on it. The track is always live, even when the screen isn't.
