When a Racing Lounge Becomes a Stage
Racing Unleashed operates professional Racing Lounges – places where guests race on real-world circuits in ultra-realistic simulators, right in the heart of the city rather than at the track. It was exactly this combination of technology, entertainment and immersive space that made our Zurich City Lounge the setting for something you might not necessarily expect there: an album release party.
EAZ and XEN, two of the biggest names in Swiss rap and musical collaborators since 2015, gave guests an exclusive first listen to their joint album Up in Smoke one day before its official release – deliberately choosing our Lounge over a traditional club venue.
The evening showed exactly why it worked. First, all guests took part in a qualifying session at Monza, before the fastest drivers went head-to-head with EAZ and XEN themselves. Within minutes, screens, lighting and sound transformed from a racing setup into a concert atmosphere – turning the Sim Lounge into an exclusive listening space for the new album, with EAZ and XEN there in person.
And when their own tracks came on, neither of them could resist spontaneously rapping along.
Up in Smoke speaks for itself – the evening simply showed that an album can also find its stage in an unexpected place.
