Hotlap Challenge: Terms and COnditions

1. Organizer
The Hotlap Challenge is organized by Racing Unleashed München GmbH, Am Ausbesserungswerk 8, 80939 München, Germany
2. Eligibility
Participation is open to individuals aged 18 or older.
The following are excluded from prize eligibility:
- Racing Unleashed Gold Members, owners oft the Racing Unleashed Pole Position Pass or owners of the Racing Unleashed Driver Pass
- Active participants of the RU Esports Series (last and current season, RU1, RU2 and RU3)
- Employees and contractors of Racing Unleashed and affiliated companies
3. How to Participate
Guests may join the Hotlap Challenge by informing lounge staff before their session.
Participation is possible in both individual and group bookings.
Participants can try the challenge multiple times throughout the day.
4. Tracks & Timeframe
The Race Track is the Nürburgring GP.
The HotLap Challenge takes place on May 9th, 2026 - during the opening hours of the Racing Unleashed Lounge in Munich.

5. Winner Selection & Prizes
The prizes will be awarded to the participants who achieve the fastest, second-fastest and third-fastest valid lap times during the Hot Lap Challenge.
Only valid lap times recorded in accordance with the official challenge rules will be considered for the ranking and prize allocation.
The prizes are as follows:
- 1st Place: Share Package
- 2nd Place: Race Day Package
- 3rd Place: 2 x 30-minute rides
In the event of identical lap times, the organiser reserves the right to determine the final ranking based on the earlier recorded valid lap time or another fair and transparent tie-break method.
Winners will be contacted via the details provided at the lounge.
If the winner cannot be reached within five (5) days of reach out through Racing Unleashed, the prize will be awarded to the next fastest eligible participant. This process will continue through the top 3 fastest times.
The final decision on eligibility and lap time validity rests with Racing Unleashed.
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. No legal recourse is permitted regarding the awarding of prizes.
Racing Unleashed reserves the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
6. Data Collection & Privacy
Lap time data is automatically recorded through simulator telemetry.
Personal data (e.g. name, contact details) will be collected at the lounge solely for the purpose of contacting winners.
No data will be shared with third parties.
Data will be stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
7. Fair Play & Disqualification
Any attempt to manipulate the simulator, unfair driving behavior, or use of unauthorized hardware may result in disqualification.
Racing Unleashed reserves the right to disqualify participants at its sole discretion.
8. Prize Redemption
Prizes must be redeemed within 6 months of notification.
No cash alternatives or exchanges.
Prizes are non-transferable.
9. Changes, Disruptions & Liability
Racing Unleashed AG and Racing Unleashed München GmbH reserve the right to suspend, cancel, or modify the Hotlap Challenge at any time, without prior notice, for operational, technical, or business reasons. This includes the right not to continue the challenge in subsequent months.
Racing Unleashed AG and Racing Unleashed München GmbH accept no liability for technical errors, network issues, or simulator malfunctions that may affect lap time recordings or prevent the identification of a winner. If the fastest eligible participant cannot be determined or contacted due to such disruptions, no substitute winner is guaranteed beyond what is stated in Section 4.
10. Legal
The competition is subject to Swiss law.
Legal recourse is excluded.
