THE RACER INTERVIEW: ROK MRZEL
Rok works in a transport company and lives in Derendingen.
What brought you to Formula V?
I learned about Formula V on Facebook. I knew at once that I had to be there.
What is your favourite track and why?
My favourite track on the F-1 calendar is the GP of China in Shanghai. I think the track offers everything a track has to offer. Long straights, fast and slow corners and many overtaking opportunities.
Do you have a sporting role model?
Definitely Charles Leclerc although he is younger than me. I think he has an incredible talent. In Formula 2 he became world champion in his first season. Despite the death of his father and his godfather Jules Bianchi, he never gave up. His performance at Sauber 2018 was also outstanding.
What is your annual goal in Formula V?
My goal in Formula V is to keep up with the best and qualify for the grand finale. I want to prove to myself that I can do it.
