We are opening a Racing Lounge at the Circle
A virtual racing experience on a world-class level - this is what Racing Unleashed stands for. In real high-end racing simulator cockpits with F1 handlebars, you drive on virtual traditional race tracks. Racing for everyone
Racing Unleashed is fully dedicated to the world of e-sports. Founded at the end of 2018 by Francisco Fernandez, a Swiss entrepreneur and founder of the banking software company Avaloq, the company's vision is to make motorsport, which has so far been very expensive, accessible to the general public. Monisha Kaltenborn, the former co-owner, CEO and team principal of the Sauber Formula 1 team, has been at the helm of Racing Unleashed since mid-2019. With her leadership experience at the Sauber Group and from the F1 business, she is driving the growth of the start-up. Racing Unleashed operates several Racing Lounges in Switzerland and internationally, including locations in Madrid and Munich.

eSports is the fourth largest sport worldwide, with 454 million fans in 2019, and the video game industry is larger than the film and music industries combined in terms of revenue. And the market research in Switzerland is also clear: every third Swiss plays video games at least once a week and every 20th Swiss watches eSports without playing competitively themselves. Über The Circle
The Circle is a service centre of Flughafen Zürich AG and Swiss Life AG. Since its opening in autumn 2020, the new quarter at Zurich Airport invites guests to discover the brand worlds in different brandhouses and to enjoy and linger in ten restaurants and cafés. Two hotels of the Hyatt hotel group, a congress centre for up to 2,500 guests, an outpatient health centre of the University Hospital Zurich, attractive office space as well as art, culture and education complete the wide range of offers at Switzerland's largest national airport. The Circle, with its accompanying park, is a cultural and economic enrichment beyond the airport region. The project was realised by a co-owners' association in which Flughafen Zürich AG holds 51 percent and Swiss Life AG 49 percent.
